Planergy Productions Pty Ltd led the PACLS000043 grant-funded project, with Indigenous Translations providing specialist First Nations language communication capability across the Northern Territory and Queensland.
The program delivered accessible hazard-awareness, preparedness and recovery information for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across 10 languages and 131 translation deliverables.
Indigenous Translations supported multilingual project management, specialist language coordination, voice production and communication delivery across factsheet, poster and voice-over formats.

Northern Territory Delivery
Northern Territory delivery — 8 First Nations languages
The Northern Territory delivery translated disaster preparedness, response and recovery resources into eight First Nations languages for priority communities across Barkly, East Arnhem, the Tiwi Islands and Katherine. Resources addressed bushfires, floods, cyclones, earthquakes, tsunamis, severe weather, financial assistance and household emergency preparedness.

45 posters: 7 Earthquake, 3 Tsunami, 3 Cyclone, 8 Flood, 8 Severe Weather, 8 Financial and 8 Bushfire, together with documented Northern Territory voice-overs.
Queensland Delivery
10 posters and 10 voice-overs across two language streams.
The documented Queensland component of this project covered Aurukun — Wik Mungkan and Torres Strait — Torres Strait Creole/Yumplatok.
Coverage included Income Tested Grants, Emergency Hardship Assistance, Essential Services Hardness Assistance, Bushfire and Heatwave, Preparing for a Cyclone and Flood.
This Queensland component is part of the Preparing Australian Communities / Disaster Resilience project only. It is separate from the broader Queensland Government disaster-recovery language work represented elsewhere on this site, which began before this grant.
